Doug Kerr is a trainer, facilitator and independent consultant to the nonprofit sector. He has over 15 years experience in nonprofit organisational development, social research, evaluation, governance and planning, with particular expertise around collaboration and network development. Doug also teaches a class in social justice issues at Centennial College in Toronto. Doug has experience in program development, organisational capacity building and planning at both United Way Toronto and Tides Canada Foundation. An avid volunteer, Doug currently serves on several nonprofit Boards and committees, including Sherbourne Health Centre and the LGBT Giving Network. Doug holds degrees from the University of Alberta and the University of Toronto. He is a member of the Canadian Evaluation Society. Doug speaks Mandarin Chinese and is also interested in the development of philanthropy and nonprofit civil society in Asia.
